China's manufacturing PMI records 50.9% in Jun

China's manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) rose by 0.3% from the previous month to 50.9% in June, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In terms of enterprise scale, the PMI of large and medium-sized enterprises was 52.1% and 50.2%, up by 0.5% and 1.4% from the previous month, respectively. The PMI for small enterprises was 48.9%, down by 1.9% from the previous month.
According to the classification index, among the five sub-indexes constituting the manufacturing PMI, the production index, the new order index and the supplier distribution time index are all above the threshold, while the raw materials inventory index and the employment index stay below the threshold.
