Some steel enterprises in Xuzhou to shut down blast furnaces on Jun 30

According to the work plan for the integration and rectification in five major industries of Xuzhou in 2020, before the end of June 2020, there will be three iron and steel enterprises and three coking enterprises left in Xuzhou after integration.
Recently, the government of Xuzhou issued a notice on safe production suspension in enterprises during the transitional period. The notice asked that seven enterprises in transitional period that produce iron and steel or coke will completely stop production before 24:00 on June 30. The seven companies includes Xuzhou Weitian Chemical Co., Ltd., Xuzhou Zhongtai Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Xugang Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Xingda Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Penggang Iron and Steel Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Xuzhou Taifa Special Steel Technology Co., Ltd. and Huaihai Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd.
Coking enterprises should calculate the time backward according to process requirements and arrange a plan to reduce orifices and discharge coke to ensure that coal adding for coking furnaces will be stopped before 24:00 on June 30. Besides, these enterprises should complete sweeping and replacement of all kinds of towers, grooves, tanks, pipelines and other facilities in advance to ensure smooth and safe production suspension.
Iron and steel enterprises should make preparations for the reduction of raw materials in blast furnaces and the tapping work of iron and residual iron from the last furnace to ensure that the blast furnace systems cease fire steadily before 24:00 on June 30.
