Chinese stainless steel prices saw an upward trend during this month mainly supported by the low market inventory and the increase in steel mills' list prices. As the supply from steel mills was insufficient and traders were reluctant to build large stockpiles, the market inventory ran at a low level. Besides, steel mills all raised their list prices obviously to support the market. However, customers were still just purchasing materials for urgent need and the market sales performance did not become better.
