Coal mines in Taiyuan to be supervised by classification and grade

The municipal govermet office of Taiyuan issued Specific Rules on Supervising Coal Mines by Classification and Grade in order to fully implement policies of classified safety supervision and effectively forestall production safety accidents of coal.
According to the document, all coal mines in Taiyuan will be classified for four types of A, B, C and D in accordance with their abilities to control risks, safety management levels, mining technology conditions, equipment and other factors. The mines will be classified once a year based on their safety production conditions and production and construction states. Differentiated safety supervision and law enforcement measures will be carried out to different types of mines.
