Saudi Arabia plans to raise tariffs on imported steel products to the maximum bound tariff rates allowed by WTO
. From 10 June on, the country will increase the imported tariff for square billets from 5% to 10%, that for hot-rolled products from 5% to 5-10% based on types, that for coating steel products from 5% to 12-15%, that for wire from 10% to 20% and that for rebar from 10% to 15% .
