MEE: To realize zero import of solid waste by end of 2020

On 2 June, the spokesman of Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) said at the regular press conference that MEE will continue cooperating with related departments and regions on unswervingly banning imports of foreign garbage, an iconic measure for ecological civilization construction, by keeping direction and strength unchanged and promoting all reform tasks practically to realize zero import of solid waste and achieve all reform goals by the end of 2020.
