Hunan shuts down first unsafe small coal mine this year

On May 27, Sanhe Coal Mine of Yongxing Hexie Coal Industry Co., Ltd. officially started the shutdown and exit work. This mine is the first unsafe small coal mine in Hunan to be closed down this year. By May 29, the entire coal mine was officially closed in place.
With a design annual production capacity of 60,000 and an approved annual production capacity of 60,000t, the mine is a low gas mine and an unsafe and backward small coal mine that should be eliminated.
In April this year, the Department of Emergency Management of Hunan Province, Hunan Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau and Hunan Energy Bureau jointly issued a notice, deciding to retain a batch according to existing production capacity, upgrade a batch, and close and exit a batch of coal mines with an annual output of less than 300,000t within a time limit, so as to promote the safety development of the coal industry.
