Australia launches anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on painted steel strip from China

On May 27, 2020, the Australian Antidumping Commission issued announcement No.2020/50, stating that, in response to the application submitted by the Australian domestic enterprise, an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation was initiated on the painted steel strip imported from China and Vietnam. The products investigated are painted carbon steel strips with nominal width of 12mm-32mm, nominal thickness of 0.5mm-1.5mm, whether rolled or not, whether waxed or not. Stainless steel strip and galvanized steel strip are not included in the investigation scope of this case. The dumping and subsidy investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, and the injury investigation period starts from April 1, 2016. The Australian Customs Code of the product involved is 7212.40.00.62.
