Zijin Mining sets up subsidiary in Lhasa

Zijin Mining said it set up a subsidiary called Tibet Zijin Industry Co., Ltd. in Lhasa on May 21. Zijin Mining subscribed 100% shares of the subsidiary for RMB2 billion (USD279 million).
The new subsidiary is engaged in mine geology technical service, mineral resources information consulting service, the procurement and sales of electromechanical equipment, machine parts, construction materials, and steel products, as well as warehousing service.
