On May 22, 2020, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) respectively announced the initiation of the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation against imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and laminates produced in or imported from China
On December 5, 2014, at the request of a Canadian photovoltaic materials producer, CBSA decided to initiate an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation against imported crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and laminates from China. On March 5, 2015, the CBSA made a preliminary ruling on the case . On July 3, 2015, CITT made a final judge of the industrial damage in the case.
