Xiangtan Electrochemical: Sichuan Yuneng's 20,000tpy LFP production line expected to go ingot operation in H2

Xiangtan Electrochemical announced on May 25th that Hunan Electrochemical Houpu Technology Co., Ltd. owns production lines of 2,000tpy of NCM precursor and 3,000tpy battery grade nickel sulfate and is actively trying to win the acknowledgement of customers for the NCM precursor produced through pilot production.
Xiangtan Electrochemical also disclosed that its shareholding subsidiary, Yuneng New Energy, has founded a wholly-owned subsidiary, Sichuan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material Co., Ltd. in 2020 and is building a 20,000tpy LFP production line, which is expected to go into operation in the second half of 2020. Yuneng New Energy's LFP production capacity will reach about 50,000tpy after the production line goes into operation.
