Electricity prices to fall in Yulin, Shaanxi

According to the regional government of Yulin, a city in China's Shaanxi province, the power supply bureau in Yulin will lower the comprehensive price of electricity purchased online from RMB0.3918/kWh (USD0.055/kWh) to RMB0.3818/kWh (USD0.054/kWh) (including basic electricity price) starting June 1, 2020. For industries with captive power plants such as calcium carbide, ferrosilicon and silicomanganese, if they purchase more electricity this year compared to 2019, the price for the extra part will be lowered from RMB0.4462/kWh (USD0.063/kWh), RMB0.4262/kWh (USD0.060/kWh) and RMB0.4062/kWh (USD0.057/kWh) respectively to RMB0.3818/kWh (USD0.054/kWh) (including basic electricity price). The Yunli Branch of the State Grid will lower the electricity price for calcium carbide, ferrosilicon and silicomanganese industry without captive power plants from RMB0.4462/kWh (USD0.063/kWh), RMB0.4262/kWh (USD0.060/kWh) and RMB0.4062/kWh (USD0.057/kWh) respectively to RMB0.3818/kWh (USD0.054/kWh) (including basic electricity price); for those with captive power plants, if they purchase more electricity this year compared to 2019, the price for the extra part will be lowered from RMB0.4462/kWh (USD0.063/kWh), RMB0.4262/kWh (USD0.060/kWh) and RMB0.4062/kWh (USD0.057/kWh) respectively to RMB0.3818/kWh (USD0.054/kWh) (including basic electricity price).
