Chinese stainless steel prices witnessed different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 300 series stainless bar and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe rebounded mainly supported by higher raw material costs and the increase in steel mills' list prices, while those of 201 grade stainless HRC and CRC, and 430 grade stainless CRC went down further due to weak demand. Customers were still purchasing materials for urgent need and the market sales performance did not become much better. Having no confidence in the market outlook, traders were reluctant to build large stockpile.
