Huayu Mining: Mining project of Keyue lead polymetallic mine approved

Huayu Mining announced on May 8 that the company recently received the reply from the Development and Reform Commission of Tibet Autonomous Region and was agreed to build a 400,000tpy mining project of Longzi County Keyue lead polymetallic mine of Tibet Huayu Mining Co., Ltd.
According to the announcement, the project is mainly to build underground mining system, mechanical and electrical repair facilities, warehouse, water source and water supply pipeline, comprehensive office building and other supporting facilities. The service life of the mine is 16.5 years. The estimated investment of the project is 136 million yuan (19.23 million US dollars), all raised by the company itself.
In terms of mineral resource reserves, the reserves of ore resources are 7.0673 million tons, and the resources of lead, zinc and antimony are 384,900 metal tons. Among them, the reserves of lead are 212,300 metal tons, with an average grade of 3%; the reserves of zinc are 172,600 metal tons, with an average grade of 2.44%; the reserves of associated antimony are 81,300 metal tons, with an average grade of 1.15%; the reserves of silver are 711.8 metal tons, with an average grade of 100.72g/t.
