1. Market Highlights
Discouraged by the continuously reduced demand at home and abroad in recent two months, prices of CRC and HGI coil in Chinese domestic markets continued to fall in April but the markdown was narrowed compared with that in March. Due to losses, steel mills began to cut production, which prevented prices from falling further to some degrees.
In the international market, CRC and HGI coil prices did not show big changes in many Asian countries like Malaysia, Vietnam and India and there were few buying activities under the lockdown. CRC and HGI coil export prices from China kept moving down discouraged by the obviously reduced demand from overseas markets .
