According to a report on the website of the Eurasian Economic Union on March 17, the council of the Eurasian Economic Union has passed a resolution to lift import tariffs on some electric vehicles. The zero-tariff policy will be implemented until December 31, 2021, and applies equally to legal persons and natural persons importing electric vehicles. The move will shape the market for electric vehicles in Union countries and promote the development of electric vehicle production and charging infrastructure.
