Steel slag processing line project of Shagang completes thermal commissioning

On March 24, according to information from Shagang, its steel slag processing line project successfully completed thermal commissioning, marking the recycling and comprehensive utilization of Shagang's solid waste to a new level.
It is said that this project is a key project of Shagang's new round of environmental protection technology upgrading. With an annual production capacity of 3.3 million tons, the project comprises two converter thermal slag processing lines with an annual processing capacity of 2.4 million tons and an electric furnace thermal slag processing line with an annual processing capacity of 900,000t. The project carried out relocation and process optimization and upgrading of the existing steel slag processing line, constructed auxiliary environmental protection and energy saving facilities and made all solid waste such as steel slag and tailings into the warehouse.
