Energy New Materials to raise RMB5 billion for Li-battery membrane projects

On March 23, Energy New Materials announced its private placement plan, expecting to raise no more than RMB5 billion (USD706 million) from no more than 35 specific investors; upon deduction of issuing costs, the fund to be raised will be used for Li-ion battery membrane stage one expansion project of Jiangxi Tongrui New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. and stage two expansion project of Wuxi Energy New Materials Industry Base, ans to supplement working capital of the company.
