Yunnan Aluminum and subsidiaries to buy power from Huineng Power Sales

On March 23, Yunnan Aluminum announced that the company and some of its holding subsidiaries plan to continue to purchase electricity from Yunnan Huineng Power Sales Co., Ltd. in 2020. The company and its holding subsidiaries, including Yunnan Yunlv Yongxin Metal Processing Co.,Ltd., Yunnan Yunlv Runxin Aluminum Co., Ltd., Qujing Yunlv Yuxin Aluminum Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Yunlv Zexin Aluminium Co., Ltd., plan to purchase electricity of about 20.4 billion KWh from Huineng Power Sales, with the purchase price estimated at about RMB0.346/KWh (USD0.05/KWh).
Yunnan Aluminum said purchasing electricity from Huineng Power Sales can not only strengthen the bargaining ability for power transaction but also effectively control the cost of electricity for the company and its subsidiaries, avoid operating risks, improve operating performance and enhance competitiveness.
