ICSG: Global refined copper market in surplus of 68 kt in Dec 2019

The global refined copper market was in a surplus of 68 kt in December 2019, against a deficit of 49 kt in November, according to the latest monthly report released by International Copper Study Group (ICSG).
From January to December 2019, the global refined copper market was in a deficit of 341 kt, against 391kt in the same period of last year.
In December, global refined copper production was 2,070 kt and consumption was 2,010 kt.
The report also says China's copper inventory in bonded warehouse was in a surplus of 75 kt in December, compared to a deficit of 58 kt in November.
