LONGi Group to construct three single crystal photovoltaic projects

At the noon of 23 March, LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("LONGi Group") released an announcement and decided to invest RMB7.011 billion (USD0.99 billion) in total in the construction of three single crystal photovoltaic projects.
These projects are Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base Phase-I 7.5GW-per-annum single crystal battery project of 10GW-per-annum single crystal battery and supporting pilot project, Jiaxing 5GW-per-annum single crystal component project and Tengchong 10GW-per-annum single crystal silicon rod project, with an investment of RMB3.226 billion (USD0.46 billion), RMB1.948 billion (USD0.28 billion) and RMB1.837 billion (USD0.26 billion) respectively.
According to the announcement, Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base Phase-I 7.5GW-per-annum single crystal battery project is expected to go into production in June 2020. After reaching design capacity, the project will see an average annual operating income of about RMB5.608 billion (USD0.79 billion) and an average annual net profit of RMB642 million (USD90.73 million). Jiaxing 5GW-per-annum single crystal component project and Tengchong 10GW-per-annum single crystal silicon rod project are expected to go into production before the end of 2020. After reaching design capacity, the two projects will see an average annual operating income of RMB11.114 billion (USD1.57 billion) and RMB3.356 billion (USD0.47 billion) respectively and an average annual net profit of RMB823 million (USD116 million) and RMB629 million (USD88.90 million) respectively.
