  • SAIL raises prices of steel bars by up to 8% for March

    Steel Authority of India Ltd.Asian Metal CopyrightSteel Authority of India Ltd.Asian Metal Copyright (SAIL) has hiked prices of its steel bars by up to 8% for March across regions, trade sources disclosed.

    The government-owned steel maker had hiked the prices of these products in January and February as well; the prices are now up by 10-18% in the current quarter, compared with the end of the previous quarter.

    Apart from SAIL, most other steel producers have also hiked prices of rebars.
