Baosteel expects to put Desheng good-quality stainless steel project into production in H2 2022

On 13 March, Fujian Luoyuan significant investment projects signing ceremony was held online and contracts for 13 projects were signed, including Baogang Desheng high-quality stainless steel green industrial base project.
As an iron and steel production capacity replacement project , the project is expected to go into operation in the second half of 2022. Upon completion of the project, Baosteel Desheng will see increases of 2.13 million tons, 3.22 million tons, 2.13 million tons and 3.22 million tons in ironmaking production capacity, steelmaking production capacity, 400 series, high-quality special steel and iron melt production capacity and steel billet production capacity respectively, covering all types of Baosteel Desheng's BN (200 series), 300 series and 400 series.
