Chinese stainless steel prices saw a downward trend during this month on high inventory and weak demand. As prices of raw materials like nickel dropped obviously this month, steel mills like Taigang Stainless reduced their prices accordingly. Besides, many downstream customers could not resume the production on time due to the coronavirus outbreak and there was little demand for stainless steel products. As new materials arrived in succession and sales pressure increased, traders had to cut their prices.
