China to issue new tax reduction policies to help enterprises resume production

On March 3 at the press conference held by the Chinese State Council on the coronavirus epidemic, Mr. Wang Jianfan, Director of Taxation Department, Ministry of Finance stated that, as a move to respond to the epidemic in China, Chinese government will continue to enforce tax reduction policies and will also issue new supportive measures to help enterprises resume operation.
According to Wang Jianfan, Chinese government will keep monitoring existing policy system, conduct research on emerging issues and continue to make adjustments on existing policies. He said that soon after the press conference the public will see new policies announced on fee and tax reduction to help enterprises commence reoperation.
