No.1 blast furnace of Dexin Steel ignited successfully

On February 21, the ignition of No.1 1780m3 blast furnace of Dexin Steel Co., Ltd. was successful with one try.
The ignition and baking of the blast furnace body means that the upstream and downstream processes, sintering and steelmaking, with the iron making blast furnace as the core, also have the conditions for linkage commissioning, and the Dexin project will be put into production formally in early March.
It is reported that Indonesia Dexin Steel Co., Ltd. invests USD980 million in the project, with a scale of "3.5 million tons + 1.5 million tons reserved ". It is a large combined steel enterprise integrating coking, sintering, ironmaking, steelmaking and steel rolling. Its main products are bars, wires and some billets.
