BEIJING (Asian Metal) 19 Feb 20 – The world's leading antimony producer, China Minmetals Rare Earth Co., Ltd. suggested Asian Metal to lift the prices of antimony products, in an official letter sent to Asian Metal on Feb 18, 2020. Please refer to the attachment for details.
China Minmetals Rare Earth believes that the current prices of antimony ingot 99.65% min, according to its investigations and deals, should stand at or even over RMB42,000/t (USD5,999/t), but the prices on Asian Metal stand far behind the actual market prices and the price gap between them is obvious.
On Feb 17, 2020, Asian Metal's assessment on the market price of antimony ingot in China stands at RMB38,500-39,500/t (USD5,500-5,643/t).
