Chengtun Mining expects to put Indonesian nickel matte project into pilot production in Apr

Chengdu Mining announced on February 13th that its Board of Directors approved the Scheme on Investing in 34,000tpy Nickel Metal Volume of Nickel Matte in Weidabei Industrial Park in Indonesia. The company will invest the project through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hongsheng International Resource Co., Ltd. and the construction of the project will be responsible by Youshan Nickel (Indonesia) Co., Ltd., a joint venture.
As of the date the Scheme was released, Chengtun Mining has received the Notice of Recording Overseas Investment Projects issued by the National Development and Reform Commission of China, the Overseas Investment Certificate of Enterprises issued by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Ministerial Resolution on Deducting Youshan Nickel (Indonesia) Co., Ltd.'s Corporate Income Tax issued by the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia.
Chengtun Mining noted that its 340,000tpy nickel metal volume of nickel matte project is under well progress now as expected, adding that it will continue to finish the work of the final phase in the future and plans to put the project into pilot production in April 2020.
