It is reported that the construction of compound semiconductor new materials industrial park phase I project, invested and constructed by Daqing Yitai Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd., is expected to be completed in late January.
The compound semiconductor new materials industrial park project is a key investment attraction project in Daqing City, with an annual output of 2.4 million pieces of 4-inch gallium arsenide for LED in the phase I project, which has entered the stage of installation, debugging and operation at the same time.
The semiconductor new materials industrial park project is expected to receive an investment of RMB2.1 billion (USD304.90 million) to build six projects, including 4-inch gallium arsenide wafer for LED project with an annual capacity of 2.4 million pieces, 6-inch gallium arsenide wafer for weak electricity project with an annual capacity of 36,0000 pieces, 2-inch indium phosphide wafer project with an annual capacity of 1.2 million pieces, 6-inch silicon carbide wafer project with an annual capacity of 60,000 pieces, 2-inch lithium tantalate wafer project with an annual capacity of 1.2 million pieces and compound semiconductor new materials research and development center project. If all of these projects are put into operation, the annual sales revenue will be RMB2.8 billion (USD406.54 million).
