Guangxi to weed out 49,100t of backward production capacity for ferroalloy in 2019

The industry in the Zhuang Autonomous Region of Guangxi Province planned to phase out production capacity of ferroalloy by 49,100t in 2019, involving three enterprises distributed in Baise City. In December 2019, after on-site verification, the capacity of ferroalloy was actually eliminated reached 49,100t, achieving the goal. Among them, the province weeded out one 6,300KVA submerged arc furnace of Lingyun Yonghe Smelting Co., Ltd., with a capacity of 11,100t for ferroalloy. Two 6,300KVA submerged arc furnaces of Xinglong Ferroalloy Co., Ltd., in Longlin County were weeded out, with a capacity of 30,000t for ferroalloy. Two submerged arc furnaces of Ferroalloy Smelter in Longlin County were weeded out, with a capacity of 8,000t for ferroalloy.
