Qingdao port becomes the largest "ore supermarket" in China

After the implementation of "clearance before inspection", Qingdao Customs handled 311 million tons of imported iron ore, manganese ore and other ores and arranged delivery after inspection and quarantine. Benefiting from this background, Qingdao port received 16.62 million tons of iron ore and mixed ore and handled 15.48 million tons of mixed ore in 2019, ranking first nationwide. More than 40 iron and steel companies and traders from eight provinces and cities make purchases at Qingdao port and many overseas mines are discussing processing of mixed ore with Qingdao port at present, enabling Qingdao port to be the largest "ore supermarket" in China.
