China imported 1.483 million tons of steel in December 2019, up by 441,000t or 42.3% MOM and up by 477,000t or 47.4% YOY, according to data released by China Customs on January 14.
In January-December 2019, China imported 12.304 million tons of steel in total, down by 6.5% YOY.
