BYD to realize mass production for new generation of blade batteries in Mar

On January 11th, Wang Chuanfu, the Chairman of BYD, disclosed that they would realize mass production of blade batteries (LFP battery products), a kind of products developed recently by themselves, in March 2020. With their volume/energy density ratio being 50% higher than that of traditional batteries, the new generation of batteries will be firstly used in BYD HAN vehicles. BYD Han vehicles, which have a maximum voyage of 600km without refueling, will be launched in the market in June 2020.
