Century Metal Recycling' secondary aluminum output achieves 200,000t in 2019

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 14 Jan 20 – Century Metal Recycling Ltd., the largest secondary aluminum manufacturer in India, produced about 200,000t of secondary aluminum in 2019, in line with 2018.
According to a source from the company, they own 10 branch plants with a total secondary aluminum production capacity of 250,000tpy. "We produced about 130,000t of aluminum alloy ADC12 in 2019, with a monthly output of around 11,000t," said the source, adding that the rest output is for other specifications of secondary aluminum products.
The source disclosed that they aim for the same total output in 2020. They mainly purchase aluminum scrap from Europe and sell aluminum alloys in the overseas market.
Besides, they started the sales of aluminum alloy ADC12 to China from December. Their current prices for the material stand at around USD1,600/t CIF China.
