Valin Iron and Steel's sales of steel products up by 25.4% YOY in 2019

On the evening of January 9, Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. released an announcement. The announcement said that in December 2019, the company produced 1.72 million tons of steel products, down by 40,000t or 2.3% from November but up by 100,000t or 6.2% from YOY. The sales of steel products totaled 1.76 million tons, down by 60,000t or 3.3% MOM but up by 180,000t or 11.4% compared with December of 2018.
In December 2019, Valin Iron and Steel saw an output of 1.46 million tons of iron, down by 50,000t or 3.3% from last month but unchanged YOY. The output of steel reached 1.81 million tons, down by 70,000t or 3.7% from November of 2019 but up by 40,000t or 2.3% from December of 2018.
From January to December 2019, Valin Iron and Steel produced 19.90 million tons of iron, up by 22.0% YOY. It produced 24.31 million tons of steel during this period, up by 23.3% from that of 2018. The output of steel products reached 22.88 million tons, up by 24.6% from last year, and the sales of steel products reached 23.18 million tons, up by 25.4% YOY. All of production and operation indicators of the company hit historical records.
