Hebei conducts energy conservation supervision on steel and coking industries

Hebei Energy Conservation Supervision and Monitoring Center recently organized energy conservation supervision (monitoring) institutions in the whole province to monitor the implementation of energy consumption quota standards of some enterprises in industries such as steel and coking in the way that in the process of supervision, randomly select the inspection objects, randomly select the law enforcement inspectors, and timely disclose the spot check and the investigation results to the public (two "random" and one "public"). Through supervision, the energy consumption indexes of unit product in each process of relevant enterprises are up to standard.
Taking January to December 2018 as the statistical period, according to relevant standards, the monitoring team checked the energy consumption of 11 steel enterprises in each process. The output of crude steel of the 11 steel enterprises was 31.0687 million tons, the output of iron was27.4455 million tons, the output of steel products was 25.7206 million tons, the comprehensive energy consumption was 17.3787 million tons of standard coal, and the average comprehensive energy consumption was 560kg of standard coal. All the energy consumption indexes of unit product in each process were up to the standard.

The production capacity of the seven coking enterprises was 8.53 million tons, the output of coke (dry high-temperature coke) was 7.3111 million tons, and the comprehensive energy consumption was 968,300t of standard coal. All the energy consumption indexes per unit product were all up to standard.
