Zhejiang releases solid waste regulation action plan

Recently, Information and Technology Department and Ecology and Environment Department of Zhejiang jointly released the provincial industrial solid waste special regulation action plan. By the end of 2020, the multi-channel and high added value industrial solid waste comprehensive utilization development new pattern will be formed, the comprehensive utilization rate of general industrial solid waste will be kept over 95%, the solid hazardous industrial waste environment supervision system will be established and the utilization and disposal rate of hazardous industrial waste will reach over 96%. By the end of 2021, the comprehensive utilization rate of industrial solid waste will be improved significantly, the comprehensive utilization rate of general industrial solid waste will reach over 96%, the utilization and disposal capacity of general industrial solid waste will be well-matched with output in counties and cities and the utilization and disposal rate of hazardous industrial waste will reach over 98%.
