Minmetals Rare Earth and Huayu Mining sign strategic cooperation agreement

On December 31, Tibet Huayu Mining Co., Ltd. (Huayu Mining) and Minmetals Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd. (Minmetals Rare Earth) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing.
The cooperation agreement mainly includes:
I. Antimony trade cooperation: In order to strengthen the cooperation in production, processing and trade of antimony products, Minmetals Rare Earth and Huayu Mining plan to set up a joint venture in Tibet which specializes in the trade of antimony and antimony products.
II. Cooperation mechanism: According to the agreement, the two sides would establish a high-level strategic communication mechanism to communicate on cooperation projects and key issues periodically. At the same time, they should establish a special liaison mechanism to promote the implementation of cooperation agreement and timely coordinate problems.
