Recently, NDRC issued the "Notice on the signing of medium and long-term power contracts for 2020" (hereinafter referred to as the notice). According to the notice, the medium and long-term power contracts for 2020 shall be signed as soon as possible, and the signing work shall be completed by the end of 2019 or the beginning of 2020. Encourage market entities to sign a higher proportion of medium and long-term contracts, and study and establish a fixed cost recovery mechanism for power generation, so as to promote the formation of a positive interaction between the medium and long-term prices and spot transaction prices.
