Indonesia's Bukit Asam aims to produce 30 million tons of coal in 2020

On Dec. 23, the chairman of Indonesia's state-owned enterprise, Bukit Asam, said the company planned to produce about 30 million tons of coal in 2020, while the projected output of the company is 28.5 million tons in 2019.
Adib Ubaidillah, the company's commercial director, said 60% of the target coal output in 2020 would be used to supply PLN; 30% would be exported, mainly to the Indian market; the remaining 10% would go to the spot market.
