Liaocheng launches level-one emergency response for heavy air pollution

The Emergency Command Office of Liaocheng decided to issue a red alert for heavy air pollution on December 19 at 20:00 p.m. and launch the level-one emergency response on December 20 at 8:00 a.m.
Industries that are required to take measures to reduce emission include iron & steel, ferroalloy, coking, alumina, primary aluminum, carbon, copper smelting, zinc & lead smelting, and secondary copper, aluminum, lead and zinc alloys. Most of the related companies are required to restrict production to varying degrees and China Ⅳ-compliant heavy truck (including gas vehicles) and the lower-standard are generally forbidden to transport materials.
