Henghe Investment to acquire 95% of Sanshi Nonferrous and increase investment in shares

Henghe Investment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guotai International Group, intends to acquire 95% of the equity of Jiangxi Sanshi Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. and increase its investment in shares for the tantalum and niobium project of Sanshi Nonferrous with an annual output of 700t. The project is expected to have a total investment of RMB140 million (USD20.07 million).
After the acquisition, Henghe Investment will own Sanshi Nonferrous Metals and Tuohong New Material. After the above project are completed, the production capacity for tantalum and niobium oxide and potassium fluorotantalate of Henghe Investment will reach 1,500tpy.
