IABr: Brazil's steel output expected to increase by 5.3% YOY in 2020

Brazil's steel output in 2020 is expected to grow by 5.3% YOY to 34.2 million tons, and sales will increase by 5.1% to 19.4 million tons, the Brazilian Steel Association (IABr) said on December 5.
In 2019, the Brazilian Steel Association expects the output to decrease by 8.2% to 32.5 million tons compared with the previous year, and domestic sales to decrease by 2.3% to 18.5 million tons.
