1. Market Highlights
Chinese tantalum concentrate import prices continued to rise this month. Chinese tantalum oxide and metal prices increased accordingly. Due to the active purchasing activities from buyers, niobium concentrate import prices increased and the niobium oxide prices rose further. Chinese ferroniobium prices decreased in November as most steel mills held back from making purchases.
European tantalite and American tantalum metal market prices increased due to rebounding demand from end users. As most traders competed for limited orders, European ferroniobium market saw lower prices in November.
