On November 29, Shanxi government provided updates on the implementation of off-peak production plan in autumn and winter 2019-2020.
The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi reported on the implementation of provincewide off-peak production plan in autumn and winter, followed by six county (city) administrations.
Shanxi government stressed that key industries shall roll out off-peak production plan throughout the heating season, whether or not the heavy air pollution occurs. In addition, during alert period, key industries shall also launch emergency response. For enterprises whose production process can't be interrupted or fully suspended, they are allowed to adopt off-peak production scheme by adjusting production plan and reducing emission ahead of the schedule.
