Panasonic announces to withdraw from semiconductor business

Panasonic released on 28 November that the company would withdraw from its semiconductor business and transfer its relevant factories, facilities and shares to Taiwan's Nuvoton Technology Corp. for a total price of about $250 million, which is expected to be completed in June next year.
