Recently, the kick-off meeting for technology innovation strategic alliance of rare earth metal intermediate alloy for new materials was held, marking the establishment of the first rare earth high-tech zone.
Led by Baotou Sunlux Rare Metal Co., Ltd. and consisting of 52 Institute of China North Industries Group and Inner Mongolia Xi'aoke Hydrogen Storage Alloy Co., Ltd., the alliance aims to solve common industry problems, such as limited downstream applications of rare earth metals and significant losses in rare earth application process (low rare earth metal recovery rate), reduce attrition rate when pure rare earth combines with other materials, improve rare earth recovery rate, enhance rare earth effects and functions and develop and promote rare earth applications by researching and adopting rare earth metal intermediate alloy for new materials.
