Wenshan to increase primary aluminum production capacity transfer

As the key layout area of Yunnan's strategy of "building a 100-billion-yuan LC hydropower aluminum project", Wenshan will increase the introduction of primary aluminum production capacity transfer, focusing on alloy aluminum, high-purity aluminum and aluminum processing. Aluminum products are used in fields such as construction, transportation, aerospace, and electronics, etc.
According to the goal of local transformation of 80% hydropower aluminum, Wenshan has planned three industrial parks, which will be constructed by three different main bodies. Currently, the three parks are being constructed and improved with the introduction of related enterprises, and will be put into operation successively this year and next year.
At present, Wenshan has established an alumina enterprise for Yunnan, with an annual production capacity of 1.4 million tons which will exceed 2 million tons after technological transformation. So far, the alumina enterprise has undertaken 3.4 million tons of primary aluminum production capacity transfer to Wenshan.
Next, focusing on the goal, Wenshan will actively guide the establishment of aluminum association and logistics association, the construction of education and technology service center, and the establishment of the corresponding aluminum industry development fund to provide support and guarantee for the development of the green hydropower aluminum industry.
