CISA: to take strict measures against the resurgence of substandard steel

According to information for the official website of China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), CISA recently held a meeting with leaders from local industrial associations in Lianyungang 2019. Leaders that attended the meeting came from 18 provincial (municipal) metallurgy (iron and steel) industrial associations in China. Officials from relevant departments of Lianyungang and Jiangsu also attended the meeting.
Leaders of industrial associations exchanged and discussed the work, new situations and new issues on promoting supply-side structural reform and consolidating capacity reduction results this year and put for advices.
Wang Dechun, the deputy general secretary of CISA, pointed out that the whole industry should continue consolidating capacity reduction results, take strict measures against the resurgence of substandard steel, ban the violations and capacity increase in disguised forms, eliminate outdated capacity and zombie companies, actively reflect the appeals of companies, solve critical issues and promote the steady operation of the whole industry.
