Shanxi releases notice about implementation of 2019-2020 autumn/winter industrial enterprises staggering peak production requirements

Recently, Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi Province released the notice about implementation of 2019-2020 autumn/winter air pollution comprehensive control industrial enterprises staggering peak production requirements.
The notice asks exhaust gas emission enterprises from iron and steel, nonferrous metals, coking, chemical, construction materials (tile, refractory brick, ceramics, lime, glass, clinker, cement grinding station, etc.) and other key industries to carry out staggering peak production requirements strictly. The staggering peak production program aims to control main pollutant discharge process of enterprises from pollution-intensive industries. During the implementation process of the program, the principle of precision should be followed and "one-size-fits-all" should be avoided. Enterprises that complete air pollution control tasks and are listed in the green demonstration plants list of MIIT, enterprises that meet the extra-low emission standards and transport materials by railway or other clean transportation means (coking enterprise must adopt coke dry quenching) and level-A enterprises that satisfy the requirements of "guidance on strengthening countermeasures for heavy pollution weather and tamping emergency emission reduction measures" released by MEE don't need to carry out the staggering peak production program after being approved.
In addition, the notice requires identifying exemption enterprise list of iron and steel, nonferrous metals, coking, chemical, cement, casting and other key industries, specifying the enterprise name, industry, exemption grounds, production restriction ratio of last autumn/winter, monthly output of last autumn/winter and so on.
